This Customer Agreement ("Agreement") sets out the terms and conditions under which you ("Customer") may rent a storage unit from Safe Container Self Storage ("Company"). By booking and paying online, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Definitions

• Storage Unit: Refers to a 20ft standard container provided by the Company.
• Customer: The individual or business renting the Storage Unit.
• Booking Fee: The amount paid online to secure the rental.
• Site: The storage facility located at Hartford House, Weston Street BL3 2AW, Bolton

2. Booking and Payment

• All bookings must be completed online via the Company's website.
• A new customer offer of £49.50 per week is available for the first four weeks.
• Thereafter, the weekly rate is £69.99.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• The booking fee is non-refundable.
• Customers must provide a valid payment method, and the Company reserves the right to charge this method for ongoing weekly payments unless otherwise agreed.

3. Security Deposit

• No additional deposit is required for booking.
• Customers will be provided with a padlock and light upon check-in at the site.
• Security personnel will be present on-site at all times, and CCTV surveillance will operate 24/7.

5. Responsibilities of the Customer

• Customers are the sole key holders for their Storage Unit.
• The Company is not liable for the loss or damage of items stored unless caused by the Company's negligence.
• Customers must not store prohibited items, including but not limited to hazardous materials, flammable goods, perishable items, or illegal substances.

6. Term and Termination

• The rental agreement is flexible, with no notice required for termination.
• If a customer decides to vacate the unit, they must ensure it is emptied and left in clean condition.
• The Company reserves the right to terminate the agreement if the Customer violates these terms.

7. Site Rules

• The site is for business and personal storage use only.
• Customers must adhere to safety and security protocols outlined by on-site staff.
• Any additional materials required must be requested in advance.

8. Liability

• The Company's liability for loss or damage is limited to cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
• Customers are encouraged to insure their stored items.

9. Amendments

• The Company reserves the right to update these terms and conditions.
• Customers will be notified of changes via email or the website.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
